Plot Highlights

Part 1: May the Best Power Win

  • Connor, Greg, and Amaya are excited about their new PJ Masks powers, and they each think their own new power is the best. As they’re talking about this, they hear some suspicious robot noises outside, and they turn into the PJ Masks that night to investigate.
  • The PJ Masks are practicing their new powers outside when the villain Romeo drives up in his lab. He tells his robot to attack them, and they use their new powers to quickly defeat him. As Romeo and the robot retreat, the PJ Masks argue over whose power was responsible for quickly defeating the robot.
  • The group finds Romeo again, but this time his robot is wearing a new “power belt” invention. When each of the PJ Masks tries to attack the robot this time, he counters their new power with one of the tools on his power belt. After each of the PJ Masks has been knocked to the ground, Romeo puts the trio in a cage.
  • Catboy is shocked that Romeo could defeat them with their new powers, but Romeo reveals that he had a small robot recording device spying on them. It overheard them all bragging about their powers that day, so he’d learned what the powers were and was able to create the power belt for his robot to fight against them.
  • Owlette can’t believe that Romeo’s won, and she complains as he walks away that he won’t stop going on about his powers. Gekko points out that they’d been going on about their new powers nonstop too.
  • PJ Robot flies up to the trapped trio and tells them he’s got a plan. They roll up to Romeo in their round cage, as if it were a hamster wheel, and PJ Robot uses his “secret power” - the ability to fly around super fast - to distract Romeo’s robot. By working together, instead of trying to show off their new powers individually, the PJ Robots ultimately defeat Romeo and take possession of the power belt.
  • After Romeo and his robot retreat, the PJ Masks agree that the best power of all is working together the PJ way.

Part 2: Moonbreaker

  • Amaya is reading one of her Flossy Flash comics, and she can’t believe that Flossy Flash would team up with a villain, Ruby the Wrecker. Greg suggests that Flossy Flash might need her help, but Amaya rejects the idea.
  • Connor looks through a telescope and sees something headed for the moon, so they turn into the PJ Masks to investigate.
  • In their HQ, PJ Robot tells the group that there’s a crack in the moon. They suspect it might be Luna Girl, but suddenly the doorbell rings and Luna Girl is there asking for their help. Luna asks them to return her lunar crystal so she can get the power she needs to save the moon.
  • Catboy tells Luna Girl they’ll check out the moon, but she asks to come along to help because she knows the moon best. Owlette is very skeptical of letting her help, but Gekko thinks she’s telling the truth. Catboy finally agrees with Gekko and decides that if the moon is really in trouble they need her help.
  • The group turns the HQ into a rocket and blasts off to the moon. There, they find Romeo searching for another lunar crystal to enhance his own powers. His robot is digging a deep hole in the moon, causing the deep crack that’s only getting worse.
  • Luna Girl tells the PJ Masks she can fix the crack, but they need to give her her lunar crystal back. Skeptical, the PJ Masks try to handle the situation themselves, but though they disrupt the robot’s digging, they can’t do anything to fix the crack. Worried that Romeo is going to destroy the moon, Gekko begs Catboy and Owlette to give Luna Girl her crystal.
  • Luna Girl promises to give the crystal back to the PJ Masks as soon as she’s done fixing the moon, and they finally give her the crystal that they’ve been keeping safe in their HQ. Luna Girl’s magic wand is reactivated and she closes the gap just before Romeo can grab another crystal.
  • Luna Girl tells the PJ Masks she wants to keep the crystal, but says she’ll give it back because she promised she would. Owlette apologizes to her for not trusting her. Though Romeo’s robot briefly snatches it, the PJ Masks gain possession of the crystal again.
  • The group returns to Earth, and Luna Girl and the PJ Masks thank each other for their help.
