Plot Highlights

Part 1: Nobody’s Sidekick

  • Connor, Amaya, Greg, and their classmates walk onto the playground one day to find that all of the playground structures are gone and there’s nowhere to play. They wonder who would do such a thing, and the trio turns into the PJ Masks that night to find otu.
  • When they venture out as the PJ Masks, they find massive piles of the playground structures, cars, and other stolen objects at the park. Romeo emerges and tells the PJ Masks it’s his new HQ, and Armadylan arrives and tells them that he’s working with Romeo to build it.
  • The PJ Masks are confused because Armadylan is supposed to be a hero and Romeo is a villain, but Armadylan claims that Romeo is going to be his sidekick and not a villain after all.
  • The PJ Masks try to tell Armadylan that heroes don’t take things that don’t belong to them, and Owlette mentions that he and Romeo are stealing. Armadylan gets mad at Romeo because Romeo had told him they were allowed to take the  playgrounds, but Romeo convinces him that the PJ Masks are just trying to ruin their HQ.
  • Convinced by Romeo, Armadylan starts throwing objects at the PJ Masks. Catboy asks Owlette if she still thinks Armadylan is good, and Owlette insists that she still knows he is.
  • Owlette tells Armadylan that Romeo wants them to fight because he’s a bad guy, but Armadylan isn’t convinced. Romeo calls out to Armadylan that it’s time to take over the city, and he demands that Armadylan does what he says. Armadylan realizes that Romeo’s a villain and that Romeo just wanted him to be a strong sidekick. Adamant that he’s nobody’s sidekick, Armadylan starts throwing tires and other objects at Romeo.
  • Armadylan is mad that Romeo tricked him, and the two start fighting by launching stolen objects back and forth. Catboy points out that Armadylan isn’t acting like a hero by fighting like this, but Owlette insists he’s still a good guy, he’s just angry at Romeo.
  • Owlette tries to tell Armadylan that the destruction needs to stop and it’s time to be a hero, but Armadylan replies that he’s already a hero and needs to make Romeo pay. Owlette tells him that he’s not being a hero, he’s just wrecking stuff, and she offers that they can help him be a hero.
  • Romeo asks Armadylan to be his evil partner, but Armadylan refuses. Romeo leaves in defeat, and Armadylan apologizes to the PJ Masks, explaining that he wanted to do good all along. Catboy tells him that he did good in the end which is all that mattered, and the PJ Masks help Armadylan clean up because that’s what heroes do.

Part 2: Armadylan Menace

  • Amaya is excited to get the new Flossy Flash comic, but when they go to the comic book store they find out that someone stole all of the comics the previous night. That night, they turn into the PJ Masks to figure out who did it.
  • When the PJ Masks arrive at the comic book store that night, Armadylan rolls up to them and accuses them of robbing the store. He’s found evidence in the store that points to each of them, and then when they return to the Owl Glider outside they find that it’s been filled with the stolen comics. The PJ Masks realize that someone is framing them for the robbery.
  • Armadylan chases the PJ Masks, determined to give them justice because he’s convinced they’re the robbers. The PJ Masks escape from him in the owl glider, and they call PJ Robot back at HQ to check the security footage outside the comic book store. They watch the footage from earlier that night and see Night Ninja and his Ninjalinos breaking in.
  • The PJ Masks show Armadylan the security footage to convince him that Night Ninja framed them. The group then realizes that Night Ninja might have done this to distract him while he and the Ninjalinos were up to no good, and they set out to find him.
  • Armadylan rolls up to Night Ninja and learns that he’s trying to replace the PJ Masks’ HQ with a statue of himself. The PJ Masks show up and help Armadylan stop the Ninjalinos.
  • Armadylan apologizes to the PJ Masks for jumping to conclusions about their guilt, and Owlette tells him it’s not his fault because Night Ninja tricked him.
