Plot Highlights

Part 1: PJ Pinball

  • One day, Amaya, Connor, and Greg notice that a wrecking ball is missing from a crane in their town. They’re unsure how something so big could vanish, so that night they transform into the PJ Masks to get to the bottom of it.
  • When they head out in the Cat Car, they find the missing wrecking ball sitting in the street. They get out to take a closer look, and they find the villain Romeo who tells them he plans to use the wrecking ball as a giant pinball to cause destruction around town.
  • The PJ Masks are super confident in their ability to save the day, and they laugh at Romeo when he suggests they won’t be able to stop him this time. Catboy insists that it would take a lot more to stop them than a giant pinball game.
  • As the giant pinball bounces around time as a part of Romeo’s game, the PJ Masks struggle to stop it, and it turns out that it’s not as easy as they thought it would be. Romeo mocks their attempts and their claims that they could stop the wrecking ball, but they keep trying.
  • Romeo launches a second wrecking ball, and the PJ Masks decide to split up to take care of both of them. They continue to have trouble, though, and Gekko sadly suggests to the others that maybe they were wrong when they thought they could handle anything. Catboy insists that heroes don’t give up.
  • The PJ Masks realize the pinballs are headed for their HQ, and Romeo launches a third ball along with them. They head into their HQ, and Catboy is determined to outplay Romeo at his game. They maneuver the HQ building, spinning it around, sinking it into the water, then finally blasting off into the sky, in order to avoid the paths of the three pinballs.
  • Romeo’s final trick is to launch one of the wrecking balls at the flying HQ using his slingshot. Though it nearly hits them, Catboy thinks quickly to create a plan to repel the ball using their thrusters. Romeo is frustrated that the PJ masks beat him once again, and he leaves in defeat.
  • The PJ Masks reflect on how Romeo almost beat them, and Owlette suggests that it happened because they thought they could handle anything. Catboy ensures the others that they can handle anything, but in this case they’d underestimated how big the problem was. They agree to avoid the same mistake in the future.

Part 2: Bounce-a-Tron

  • As Greg, Amaya, and Connor are walking outside together, Connor steps on something bouncy and gets bounced into a nearby bush. One of their other classmates pokes fun at him for the trip, and Connor starts to appear both mad and embarrassed. Though Amaya insists that he just tripped and it’s okay, Connor insists they need to find whoever put the bouncy blob there to show them how super Connor really is.
  • That night, the trio turns into the PJ Masks and heads out to investigate a trail of the bouncy blobs around town. They run into the villain Romeo, who tells them that his machine for making things bouncy has been stolen. Catboy is eager to find the thief and prove that he’s super, but Owlette reminds him that the important thing if finding the machine.
  • The PJ Masks set out to find the bounce-a-lot machine, and they find Night Ninja and his Ninjalinos using it to turn blobs of their sticky splat into bouncy splat. Night Ninja plans to use it to create a bouncing group of thieves stealing from all over town.
  • Catboy rushes out to try to stop Night Ninja, despite Gekko’s pleas to wait. He ends up landing in a tree, and he looks frustrated as the ninjas mock his landing. He insists that he’ll get serious and show them he’s worth his whiskers.
  • Owlette and Gekko start to work together in an effort to stop the Ninjalinos. Meanwhile, Catboy continues to try to prove how super he is, but when he attempts a new bouncing move he bounces into Owlette and they both fall to the ground. Gekko insists that they know he’s super and he doesn’t have to prove it, but he attempts the bouncing move again and winds up bouncing uncontrollably. When Owlette and Gekko try to help, they end up bouncing uncontrollably between the man blobs covering the ground as well.
  • Romeo arrives, and he and Night Ninja start arguing over who’s the better villain. As they each argue for their superiority, Catboy comments that they sound ridiculous. Gekko and Owlette let him know that he’s been sounding like that, and Owlette suggests that if he wants to be super they should work together.
  • The PJ Masks finally all work together to free themselves from the bouncing. Then, they manage to  grab the bouncy device and send the villains bouncing away. At the end, Catboy realizes that he doesn’t need to prove he’s super by cleaning up all of the splats by himself, and he asks for help from his friends.
